Senior Adult Ministries

“Even in old age they will still produce fruit and be vital and green.
This honors the Lord, and exhibits His faithful care.
He is my shelter. There is nothing but goodness in Him!”
Psalm 92:14-15

SAM’S mission is to lead people who are 55+ into a relationship with Jesus Christ and to develop them into fully committed reproducing followers of Him. We strive to provide fellowship in order to offer Christian support, grow spiritually, be challenged mentally, partner in service, and evangelize. We believe participation in SAM is a catalyst for growth!

Day Trips

Throughout the year we go on several day trips, usually during the week or on a Saturday. When the weather is favorable our thoughts naturally turn to more outdoor activities. For some of us that means travel.

Mission Trips

Twice a year Brookside senior adults trek to Warrenton, Missouri, to volunteer at Child Evangelism Fellowship International Headquarters. We work in the Mailbox Club, a Bible correspondence ministry, where we open mail, sort mail, grade lessons, work in the mailroom, the computer lab, and other varied tasks. You will be blessed if you go with us. The next SAM trip will be April 18-24, 2010.

Computer Classes

Come join us and mentally stimulate your brain by taking a computer class. Senior adults sponsor a plethora of interesting classes available to adults and school age students in our computer lab. Both day and evening classes are available. Learn in a non-threatening environment.
